Despite his solo career only in its infancy, singer-songwriter-guitarist Isaac
Anderson is a musical force to be reckoned with. Born and raised in
Nottingham UK, a formative blend of his parents’ Stevie Wonder and Van
Morrison records alongside his own 00s emo collection helped to shape a
signature sound that effortlessly spans soaring pop, driving rock and rootsy
singer-songwriter in equal measure.
A natural born performer, Isaac spent his early years cutting his teeth playing
in any bands that would have him - playing hundreds of shows a year and
eventually landing a job as touring guitarist and backing singer for One
Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, with whom he’s accompanied around the world
twice over.
This fruitful and bustling career managed to keep Isaac distracted from
seriously committing to his own music - but the enforced stillness of the
pandemic provided a perfect window of opportunity. He started hesitantly
releasing music in 2021, and within a few years was racking up millions of
streams and selling out shows across Europe.
Fresh off the back of his newest release, I Think That I Love You, Isaac
returns to Camden Assembly for his first UK headline show in over two years.
