Synth wizard James Holden and Polish clarinet guru Waclaw Zimpel present their captivating collaboration following the release of their EP Long Weekend.
 
Formed through a highly productive weekend of musical experimentation, they’ve created an expressive, layered and deeply transcendent collection of tracks. Performed live, this hypnotic fusion of lush-sounding productions will have you lost in deep listening.
 
Holden first made his name in the noughties as a DJ, producer and remixer. Zimpel began with formal classical education before entering the world of contemporary free jazz. The pair’s interest in North African and Indian musical traditions, combined with a shared love of all things hypnotic and trancey, is what eventually brought them together.
 
Two like-minded masters of their instrument bringing two disparate worlds together in an explosion of raw musical creativity. An immersive, in-the-moment experience.
