    A Guy Called Gerald, is a bone fide legend and true pioneer of UK electronic music. He was a founding member of the group 808 State, contributing to their debut LP Newbuild (1988) and hit single "Pacific State" (1989). He also achieved solo success with his 1988 hit single "Voodoo Ray", which became a touchstone of Manchester's club and warehouse scene. He now travels the globe from Berlin to Detroit, Berghain to the Sydney opera house and every underground spot in between. He’ll be taking to the booth in Southampton at the Summer sizzla. This is one not to be missed.

    For over 40 years Maka Foundation has been recognised as Southampton’s premier and most accomplished Reggae sound system and a staple of the local music scene since its inception in 1979. First known as Jamaka Hi-Fi then Maka Hi-Power before becoming Maka Foundation in the early 90’s. They were the highlight at the 2021 Summer sizzla at the Brook bringing unmatched positivity and vibes. 

    Make sure you come catch them this time.

    Jerk Jam are shouted about in Southampton for having the hottest fresh flavas ~ all straight from the Rub a Dub Grub grill. 

    They'll be blazin up the coals to bring you the most exquisite Caribbean bbq, jerk pans, smoking hot grooves & food you’ll dig!!
