Hailing from Durham in the North-East, local lad Jim Dixon has hit the ground running since releasing his debut single ‘To Say So’ in May of this year. The catchy, hook-laden track quickly notched up streams in the thousands, received airplay on BBC Introducing and plaudits from many who heard it. Listener reaction to second single ‘Stuck In The Moment’ has been equally encouraging and it is hoped the song will build upon the momentum Jim has achieved so far this year.
His influences range from classic artists like Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles and David Bowie, to contemporary acts such as Jake Bugg, Arctic Monkeys and Sam Fender.
As well as the singles released to date, Jim will be showcasing songs from a new EP due to be released in October, as well as those from his upcoming debut album due for release in early 2026.
The night at The Cluny promises to be a celebration of an encouraging start to Jim’s career. Ticket prices for the show are low and affordable as a thank you to those who have supported him throughout 2025 as well as to encourage others to come along and enjoy a great night of music.
