Tootawl fuses his Irish-ness with the titanic influences of Bob Dylan and Neil Young to create his own brand of contemporary folk and blues.
Christened ‘too tawl’ due to his height whilst gigging in Nashville, Tootawl has received national radio airplay, and also had his song ‘House On The Moon’ played in an episode of the Netflix series 'You Me Her'.
Now based in London, he has released two LPs over the last five years. Ben Blackwell of Third Man Records in Nashville called his debut self-titled LP "wonderfully strong, Dylanesque", and his follow-up concept album, Roger Fenton’s Wagon, is selling healthily on gatefold vinyl.
Tootawl released a string of new singles in the latter half of 2025 and is in preparation for a third album in 2026.
