Kacho Kuartet
Kacho Kuartet is led by the 23 year old spanish composer and guitarist Lucia Cacho.
Influenced by artist like Pat Metheny or Pedro Martins, she has built an original and
fresh sound blending genres like jazz and rock with brazilian elements.
This line-up features Max Florez (sax), Lucas Galetovic (bass), Josh Hudson (drums).
This quartet has performed various London venues such us Next Door Records or MAP
Studio Cafe, as well as some jazz festivals like Riojazz in Spain.
Nostromo
Led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Livan Garcia-Duquesne, the five-piece blends the
cosmic spirit of Alice Coltrane with the intensity of King Crimson, while also drawing on
world music from Chick Corea to Zakir Hussain. The repertoire spans elaborate, solo-
driven epics and improvisations to quiet meditations where baroque tones meet jazz
guitar runs. The mood can shift from introspective to fiery and apocalyptic, carrying a
menacing spiritual gravity.
Marianito Rojo
Marianito rojo is a percussion and trumpet duo exploring the intersection of
experimental music, free improvisation, and live electronics. Their work moves fluidly
between composed material and open forms, allowing sound to emerge from
interaction, listening, and risk. Their practice draws from contemporary music, free
improvisation, and jazz. They use these genres as raw material, transforming rhythmic,
harmonic, and timbral elements through extended techniques and electronic
processing.
Live electronics play a central role in their performances, expanding the acoustic
instruments into hybrid sound bodies. Processing, spatialization, and real-time
transformation allow them to create immersive sonic environments that evolve
organically during each performance.
