Keeper Of Calves is the project of Suffolk-born songwriter Leon O’Leary, crafting expansive indie-folk that blends heartfelt songwriting with shimmering guitars and cinematic soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Ben Howard, Bon Iver, The War on Drugs and Hozier, his music balances folk intimacy with the widescreen energy of alternative indie.
O’Leary has built a growing reputation on the UK live circuit, with performances for BBC Introducing and Sofar Sounds, as well as appearances at festivals including Latitude Festival and Wild Paths Festival. Named among BBC Introducing East’s “Artists to Watch,” his music has received regional radio support and praise for its emotive storytelling and atmospheric arrangements.
Releasing new music in 2026, Keeper Of Calves continues to bring his warm, immersive live show to stages across the UK, France and Ireland, delivering songs that feel both intimate and anthemic in equal measure.
A regular presence on the East Anglian live circuit, Harriet has been recognised as “a powerful voice for the future of the local music scene,” bringing a fresh energy to every stage she steps onto. Her performances are defined by a natural connection with audiences, pairing expressive vocals with a stripped-back, authentic sound.
Drawing inspiration from contemporary indie and singer-songwriter traditions, Harriet’s music balances vulnerability and strength, offering listeners a space to reflect, feel, and connect. As she continues to write, record, and perform, she is steadily building a reputation as one of Suffolk’s most exciting new artists to watch.
