LAID OFF bring an eruption of guitars, electronic pulse, and a relentless energy to the stage. They serve a concoction of the heavy, the mesmeric, and the tender textures of rock ’n’ roll and push towards the darker side of dance without losing its bite nor its euphoric radiance. Having just made their move from the South Coast to London, they have bounced from sold out gig to packed out dance floor of venues including Bush Hall, O2 Islington, and 93 Feet East. Hot wax ready to stamp itself onto the stages of the capital and beyond, they are not to be missed nor medicated.
Tongue is a student band from Oxford. Waist deep in the local music scene, these often silly slacker rock slash punk music enthusiasts are charming audiences and winning hearts as a tried and tested support band. They've been on the bill of a number of Raucous Jericho Tavern sell-outs, and packed Common Ground full for their album launch. Drawing from the likes of Parquet Courts, Pavement, Personal Trainer, and Talking Heads, Tongue's self-titled debut effort has been handed around on bootlegs of bootlegs, with bedroom burned CDs and album covers fresh from the university's printers.
There's another album coming, as well. What a Hoot.

Tom Scamell
Somerset-born singer-songwriter Tom Scamell moved to London last year and quickly gained attention for his blues-driven guitar-and-vocal style. In 2025, his original takes on classic songs earned over 17M TikTok views and support from members of The Police, Dire Straits, Bruce Springsteen, and Fleetwood Mac. Inspired by these legends but shaped by a modern edge, he now steps into his own artistry with the release of his debut single “Your Face” in December 2024.
