Laraaji, a master of new age, has influenced artists the world over including Stones Throw's Carlos Niño. His expansive repertoire has ranged from working with luminaries Madlib and Kamasi Washington to Soundway's Dexter Story, who released one of the albums of the year with 2015's Wondem.

With Dexter comes ex-Mars Volta drummer extraordinaire Deantoni Parks, whose dedication to pushing the envelope with beat making has resulted in some of the most interesting avant garde electronic music to emerge over the past few years.
