About

Let Forever Be Delayed is a UK based co-led experimental & free-improvising quartet comprised of : George Garford (alto), Tara Cunningham (guitar), Caius Williams (double bass) & Theo Guttenplan (drums)

After working extensively in duo & trio formats for years, through both Williams' 'GRAIN ' Residency (Avalon Cafe) & Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance, the quartet was formed to capture the unique chemistry of this group of improvisers. Diverse in approach, their live sets give rise to an dynamic sound-world full of interplay, sometimes inviting, sometimes uncompromising. Named fondly after a great David Berman (Silver Jews) lyric, Let Forever Be Delayed invites the listener to lose themselves in the moment. They are scheduled to record their debut live album in summer 2025.
