Lia de Itamaracá was born and has always lived on the Island of Itamaracá. Fast approaching her eighties, the singer, songwriter and dancer is an icon of Ciranda (typical dance of Brazil) in Brazil and has been awarded "living cultural heritage" status for the State of Pernambuco.

She recorded her first album, 'A Rainha da Ciranda', in 1977. Since 1999 she has been working with DJ Dolores and released acclaimed albums 'Eu Sou Lia' (2000), 'Ciranda De Ritmos' (2008) and 'Ciranda Sem Fim' (2019).

In addition to her performance as a singer and songwriter, Lia is also an actress. Her recent work in cinema was with the award winning film 'Bacurau'.

Special guest support is Brazilian singer-songwriter Bruno Capinan. They gained international recognition with the album 'Divina Garcia' (2016) and are winning plaudits for their most recent album 'Tara Rara' (2022).
