Listening Room is an intimate live music series created for people who believe great songs deserve to be truly heard. In collaboration with Pink Skies, these carefully curated sessions strip away the distractions and put the focus back where it belongs: on the songwriting, the performance and the connection between artist and audience.

Whether it's folk, indie, soul, Americana, acoustic, jazz or something completely unexpected, every Listening Room show is built around one simple idea - creating a space where artists can share their music, and audiences can experience it with their full attention.

We're delighted to relaunch the series with The Brook & Pink Skies Present: Listening Garden – Live Sessions on Sunday 6th September. Set in the relaxed surroundings of The Brook Garden, it's the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon discovering incredible artists, celebrating live music, and being part of something genuinely special.

  • Lucy Kitchen

    Contemporary Folk

British folk singer-songwriter Lucy Kitchen returns with In the Low Light (2026), a deeply moving and critically acclaimed new album exploring grief, love and the fragile beauty found in their wake. Released via Bohemia Rose Records and Germany’s Make My Day Records, the record has drawn widespread praise and charted at #19 in the Official Folk Chart.

“A story of love, loss, grief and magical thinking told in 11 new songs, all of them beautiful”
    ** Mojo Magazine
    ** Shindig Magazine
    ** Louder Than War
    ** Rollingstone Magazine DE
  • Louis Brennan

    Alternative Folk

London-based Dubliner Louis Brennan is a singer-songwriter in the folk tradition. His folk however aren’t the field hands and travelling minstrels of yore but the repressed middle managers ennui-ridden urbanites of late stage capitalism. They populate tales of bad sex, half-drunk commutes and interpersonal claustrophobia delivered in Brennan’s cracked baritone, at times embarrassingly intimate, at times spuriously broad and peppered with pitch-black humour.
  • Sorrel Nation

    Folk Rock

Travelling troubadour Sorrel Nation brings a soulful mix of folk-rock to country and engages audiences with emotive lyrics, 70s inspired style and a voice full of soul that can truly open the heart.

2024 saw multiple new releases from Sorrel including a single featuring Steve Balsamo in May, the delicate and beautiful live EP ‘Thirty Summers’ in July and the critically acclaimed debut studio album ‘Lost En Route’ in October. Sorrel performed at Black Deer, Isle of Wight and Cambridge Folk Festivals amongst others and continues to tour the festival circuit over summer with The Magic Teapot music venue
  • Ella Clayton

    Alternative Folk

Ella Clayton is a singer-songwriter from London, known for her storytelling and spell binding voice. Influenced by the likes of Jeff Buckley, Bonnie Raitt and Adrianne Lenker, she began writing songs at 13, shaping a soulful, alt-folk sound that has captivated audiences across the UK and Europe. Her debut album Murmurations (2022) and acoustic follow-up Stairwell (2023) received critical acclaim, with music featured in the BAFTA-winning film Sweetheart and Netflix's Dead Man’s Phone. Her new album Could it be you? was released this April via State 51. Ella embarked on her first UK headline tour which culminated at the iconic 100 Club.

  • Laura Reznek

    Alternative Folk

Laura Reznek has been writing, performing, and composing internationally for over a decade. Her music has been heard from the smallest of spaces spaces - bell towers, train cars, canal boats - to landmark stages including Carnegie Hall, the National Arts Centre of Canada, Harbourfront Centre and Scotiabank Dance Centre. Her work has drawn audiences into both subtle intimacy and expansive, full-band energy. In 2024, her contemporary dance show Agrimony premiered to critical acclaim, pairing her live music with choreography in a project that explored the quiet persistence of life.
  • Night Flight

    Alternative

Night Flight are a London group founded in 2017. They make melodic, experimental indie-folk that blends contemplative lyrics, joyful melodies, and sometimes jagged, often glassy guitar-led textures.

They have played to audiences all over the UK and Europe including supporting Paul Simon at Hyde Park.

“…reminiscent of Laurel Canyon Records but bears the sheen of Adam Granduciel’s early work in The War On Drugs.” – Guitar Magazine

“…dreamy, at times jangly indie pop that nods to The Blue Nile and Cocteau Twins.” – Metro

“This lovely song inspired by a lonely evening in Los Angeles features a guitar solo worthy of the Eagles’ Joe Walsh and an appealingly dusty mood” – The Times
