Mona et Toi is the noir indie-grunge duo of French singer-songwriter Alison Manicourt and British-Persian guitarist-producer Shervin Hejazi. Blending cinematic songwriting, fuzz-laced guitars and velvet-grit vocals, their emotionally charged indie rock has drawn comparisons to The Kills, PJ Harvey and Wolf Alice while retaining a distinct identity.
Their self-produced debut album, Radical Romance of Mind, is released on 28 August 2026 via Hey Boy Music, following the internationally supported singles Nothing Rhymes With Myself, Jail Cell and Sweet + Sour, championed by the likes of COLORSxSTUDIOS and KEXP.
Cambridge-based singer-songwriter Claudia Kate has a sound that sits somewhere between the outspokenness of Kate Nash and the honest musicality of Maggie Rogers, having also been compared to Brit-nominated Self Esteem for her use of spoken word and friend-in-me lyricism. Working within a self-established network of producers, musicians and songwriters, Kate makes a name for herself as a wholly DIY artist. It is evident through both Kate’s music and social media presence that she is passionate about helping people feel better about themselves, and creating a community surrounding female empowerment, body positivity and youth freedom. “Warming, raw, nostalgic and feel good” - Jess Iszatt, BBC Radio 1
