Inspired by his series of edits released on First Word Records’ offshoot label Excursions, disco academic The Showfa has teamed up with Mass Connection for a night of feel-good gospel music, courtesy of a full band featuring Faze Action’s Robin Lee and an ensemble of vocalists led by the imperious Vanessa Freeman.

You can expect to hear a carefully curated selection of some of the most uplifting gospel and disco songs from the 20th century, featuring a host of classics and some lesser known gems…
