This is the beginning of Modern Oli: the new artist
project from critically-acclaimed actor Oli Higginson,
who is a familiar face on our screens on Netflix, HBO,
Sky Atlantic, and the BBC — most notably on Netflix’s
hit show Bridgerton, with a viewership of over 100
million people.
Inspired by the introspective songwriting of Nick
Cave, Leonard Cohen, The Cure, and Rufus
Wainwright, Modern Oli fuses these influences with
the assured contemporary hookiness of artists like
Phoebe Bridgers, Bleachers, and The 1975.
His highly-anticipated debut EP will be released in
2026.
