Neon Fields @ Heartbreakers
-
Described as an enigmatic band with a distinct identity, Neon Fields formed in 2020, mere weeks before the start of the global pandemic. Throughout the proceeding lockdowns, the southwest UK-based trio pushed the boundaries of rock and electronic music in isolation, sharing music remotely and refining their style. The result was a unique and sophisticated sound that captivated audiences with cinematic soundscapes, industrial tones, and creative narratives.
Based in Bristol UK, Ed Barrett (vocals), Luke Russe (Drums) and Piers Ward (Keyboards/Guitars) draw from a diverse set of influences and seamlessly traverse multiple genres to deliver their brand of electronic rock. Their self-titled debut album released in August 2022 has received enthusiastic approval from critics and fans.
In the short time since Neon Fields arrived on the scene with their exhilarating release, Light Them Up, they have continued to release material that resonates with a continually growing international fanbase.
As one article put it, Neon Fields creates a distorted and thrilling listening experience with a resounding blend of sound, enticing the listener and keeping them fixated on the music pouring into their ears.

IAMWARFACE are an Alternative Rock Band formed in Brighton in 2017. The line up consists of Singer, Matt Warneford, Bass Player, Eric BC, Guitarist, Nino Vydeenaden and Drummer, Steve Hewitt (ex Placebo).
The aim of IAMWARFACE has always been to create a new, edgier kind of rock sound, echoing the rebellious creativity of the early 90s and punk danger of the 70s, with a fusion of 80’s style vocals, abstract guitars, moody layered synth riffs and pounding drum beats, influenced by many peers such as Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, Kasabian, Muse, Royal Blood, Nero, Queens of the Stone Age, Tears For Fears, Black Keys, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots and The Cure.
They have so far released a number of singles which have been met with high acclaim by both public and industry peers. The first single “Say My Name” was used extensively by Sky Sports for the opening Spanish League football games. In fact, legendary DJ, Eddy Temple Morris stated that their singles “Closer” and “To Die For” are masterpieces. Well, that was until he heard the song Severance from the upcoming second album, which he stated is the best thing they’ve made so far.
In 2017 they were personally asked to support Gary Numan on tour where they proved so popular to the Numanoids, calling them: "The best Numan support act in fifteen years".
The Debut Album "Year Of The Dragon" was released in September 2019 and has rapidly made top ten lists and was tipped as album of the year by many publications.
They also released an acclaimed remix album to accompany the main album.
The second album Synesthesia will be released sometime in 2024.
