Headlinig is East London-based Nick Brewer, who, in the tradition of early-aughts U.K. artists Mike Skinner and Just Jack, raps over jazzed-out beats with speed and a tongueswirling flow.

SW!TCH Expeditions is a new and groundbreaking alternative school in Dagenham. As part of their studies, our students have spent the last year training to complete an expedition overseas – gaining skillis and qualifications and learning how to run a business in the process. Now they’re raising funds to take what they’ve learned to Sierra Leone. More info can be found at http://www.lifelineprojects.co.uk/alternative-education/switch-expeditions/

    Hip-Hop/Rap

In the tradition of early-aughts U.K. artists Mike Skinner and Just Jack, East London-based Nick Brewer rapped over jazzed-out beats with speed and a tongue-swirling flow. Although he studied history at Essex University, he ended up dedicating his life to rap, a love sparked at age nine by his first rap CD, Puff Daddy's "I'll Be Missing You." He released a series of EPs within half-a-decade: his debut, 2010's Alone with My Thoughts and its 2011 sequel, as well as 2013's Flat 10. His fourth EP, 2014's "Four Miles Further", featured jazzy soul production by the Confect and a flurry of guests (George The Poet, Little Simz, JP Cooper, Naomi Scott). In 2015, in the build-up toward his official debut album Recreation, he released one more EP (“Warning Light”), which featured Stormzy, Ruby Maze, Barney Artist, Tink and another spot from Naomi Scott. His single, "Talk to Me" featured Bibi Bourelly (who penned Rihanna's "Bitch Better Have My Money") and helped Brewer garner even more widespread attention, charting in the UK Top 20. 2017 saw Nick releasing songs as part of a new project; “Many Moods”, which will continue to showcase his ability to paint pictures with his words. In addition to this series, there will also be multiple singles with the first one being “Really” followed by “Headphones”. And finally, his long awaited EP ‘Sidelines’ will be released in the final quarter of 2018. Coincidentally, the first single to his upcoming EP is titled "4th Quarter" which features the melodic and ethereal soundscapes provided by FAVELA.
