About

Quentin Collins Quintet features an All-Star line up of contemporary straight-ahead musicians on the London scene. Known for his work across many styles with the likes of Kyle Eastwood, Omar & Basement Jaxx, Collins is happiest when leading post-bop ensembles such as this. Featuring regular front line partner and renowned tenor sax tyro Leo Richardson, expect new and old QC originals as well as choice arrangements from the contemporary bop canon, always focusing on tight ensemble playing and swinging grooves. Whilst Collins always retains his own sound, this is a gig for any jazz fan of the lineage of bands such as the Jazz Messengers & One For All.
