Join us to celebrate 2 days of brand-new plays by 5 of Scotland’s most exciting new voices in writing.
Emerging writers Amina Aaliya Beg, Elliot Scott, Isaac Frost, Lola Rose Wood and Poppy Hope Smith have worked alongside award-winning playwright Douglas Maxwell to push their creative boundaries and craft 5 original short plays for the A Play, A Pie and A Pint stage.
Directed by Fiona Mackinnon and performed by emerging young actors, these early-stage plays invite you to question, examine and absorb the compelling stories these young writers have to tell. Stories that explore identity, belonging and possibility in Scotland’s evolving new writing landscape.
