🔴 We’re really sorry to share that Me & My Friends on this Thursday has been cancelled due to low ticket sales.
🔴 The band have been great throughout, but the reality is that touring at grassroots level is becoming increasingly tough. Rising costs across the board and softer ticket buying mean that sometimes even great shows don’t get over the line.
🔴 Cancelling a show isn’t without cost to us either, but running it at a significantly higher loss just isn’t sustainable.
🔴 This isn’t a reflection on the artist, far from it, and we’d absolutely love to have them back at The Brook in the future when the timing’s right.
🔴 All ticket holders will be refunded in full via their point of purchase.
🔴 If you can, keep supporting live music at this level. It genuinely makes the difference.

What do I do if a show is cancelled?

Where did you buy your tickets?
On-line from TicketWeb
If you bought your tickets on-line from TicketWeb - then the refund process should start automatically without anything for you to do. If you have any problems, you can always fill in a TicketWeb form HERE.
Box Office By Phone
If you bought your tickets from The Brook's Box office by telephone, you can call the box office during box office hours, you will need to have the card that you purchased the tickets handy. If the tickets were purchased a while ago, the box office may not be able to handle the refund as the banks have tightened up regulations, so it may need to be passed on to Brook management which may cause a short delay.
Box Office at the Box Office (You hold the tickets)
If you bought your tickets directly at the box office and hold the tickets, you will need to drop them back and sort the refund or post them back with contact details so we can call you to sort the refund.
Outside Ticket Vendor
On some shows where an outside promoter has set the show up, they may have put tickets on other outlets like Slkiddle, Gigantic, See etc... If this is the case, you would need to contact the seller directly as we have no control of this.

Over the past 15 years Me and My Friends have carved out a niche all of their own, touring across Europe and gaining support from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Cerys Matthews, FiP, Soundway Records and Quantic. Their live shows are a joyful celebration of free-flowing spontaneity and togetherness - music that invites you in, lifts you up, and keeps you dancing.
Me and My Friends are a true family, each member shaping the sound with their own distinct voice. Fred Harper’s drumming is percussive and jazz-infused, while Emma Coleman’s soaring cello and intricate vocal harmonies add a richness and depth. Sam Murray’s clarinet is funky, playful and free-spirited, while James Grunwell anchors it all with his spacious, understated bass lines and producer’s ear.
New album ‘Bring Summer’ encapsulates the essence of the band’s vision in 2025: an explosion of joyful, sun-drenched grooves underpinned by deeply reflective songwriting.
