Sterling Press are a four-piece rock band from West London, merging gritty rock riffs with the infectious thud of dance-punk. Made up of childhood neighbours and lifelong best friends — Marlon, Ed, Greg, and Lucien — the band spent their formative years playing every dive London had to offer, bonding over shared obsessions with The Beatles & Blur.
After a couple years living in Liverpool, they became resident DJs at the iconic Jacaranda Club, throwing weekly indie disco nights and using the cash they earned to buy synthesizers — providing the groundwork for their evolving sound.
Following their debut show in New York City and a UK/EU tour supporting Vundabar earlier this year, Sterling Press released their sophomore EP “Dry Run” in June. This November, they hit the road for a headline UK/EU tour, rounding things off with an unmissable show at The Camden Assembly.
