Opener ‘Been Here Before’ sets the scene with its chunky soulful blues, reminiscent of Humble Pie at their very best whilst the semi acoustic heavy soul and subtly layered soundscape of ‘Trouble’ encapsulates everything that is great about modern blues/rock crossover music. The true strength and undeniable talent of the band is summed up in their exhilarating cover of Robert Cray’s ‘Because of Me’ which makes the song sound like it was written yesterday.
