  • The Covasettes

    Indie Rock

If you’d asked The Covasettes back when they first met at uni what 2025 might look like, they couldn’t have dreamed up the ride they’ve been on. Fast forward to today, and the Manchester-based indie four-piece have racked up an impressive list of achievements: over 15 million streams, a multitude of sold-out shows across the UK, and standout sets at festivals both at home and abroad.

Their journey so far has also seen them support some of the biggest names in indie, including The Lottery Winners, The Zutons, Sundara Karma, and Giant Rooks. Along the way, they've earned national radio play from BBC Radio 1, Radio X, XS Manchester, and BBC Introducing, as well as coveted spots on playlists across Spotify and Apple Music.

Living together in Manchester helped shape The Covasettes’ signature sound - a blend of Chris Buxton’s raw, heartfelt vocals, Matt Hewlett’s irresistible guitar hooks, Matt Buckley’s driving drum grooves, and Jamie McIntyre’s polished pop-leaning production. The result? Arena-ready anthems packed with emotion, energy, and infectious melodies.

With Such A Dream kicking off their biggest chapter yet, The Covasettes are charging forward, confident, independent, and creatively on fire.
