After being together only a year, the band have made their way through the Glasgow scene filling venues such as St Lukes, G2 and headlining King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in 2024. Now leaving their local roots, they have been venturing across the country, both touring and playing festivals to share their sound to new ears, playing on stages alongside Old Mervs, James, Swim School, Laurie Wright and Slix they go. Inspired by a mix of indie artists of previous decades, like Radiohead and newer acts such as Wunderhorse, Sam Fender and Fontaines D.C., the band have found a blend that allows them to grow from their Scottish roots, with their debut EP
"Ode To A Broken Soul" releasing earlier this year.
With the release of their EP, produced by Jamie Holmes (Gerry Cinnamon, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Callum Beattie, Declan Welsh and The Decadent West) The Rants have started a new era, an era of heavy, thrashing guitar-led music mixed with poetic, relatable lyricism that can connect to any listener.
