Known simply as El Maestro, Palmieri was a revolutionary pianist and bandleader, he redefined salsa and Latin jazz across six decades — bringing Afro-Caribbean rhythm, jazz freedom, and unshakeable New York energy to stages around the world.

This September, we celebrate his incomparable legacy. London’s finest Latin and jazz musicians honour Palmieri’s explosive catalogue — from the anthems of La Perfecta to the Latin funk of Harlem River Drive and the Grammy-winning The Sun of Latin Music.

From the first piano riff to the last percussion hit, you’ll be transported into Palmieri’s world.
