The Molotovs

  • The Molotovs

    The Molotovs

    Rock & Roll

A teenage powerhouse from London’s punk-rock scene, The Molotovs - siblings Mathew Cartlidge (vocals/guitar) and Issey Cartlidge (bass/vocals) along with drummer Will - have taken the UK by storm. They formed around 2020 and quickly hit the live circuit, performing over 500 gigs across the UK and abroad before even releasing their first official track.
Their breakthrough came in early 2025 with the debut single “More More More”, released via Marshall Records. Produced by Jason Perry and mixed by Blair Crichton, the track channels new-wave punk energy and made a strong impression on the scene. It followed a high-profile support slot opening for the Sex Pistols (with Frank Carter) at the 2025 Royal Albert Hall Teenage Cancer Trust show.

Chosen by punk icons like Sex Pistols, The Libertines, Blondie, and championed by Green Day for live support slots.
Signed with Marshall Records in January 2025, solidifying their position as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging rock acts. Embarked on their “All You Want Is Tour Tour Tour” UK headline tour from March–April 2025, including festival dates at 2000trees, Isle of Wight, Lakefest, Rebellion, and more. Known for explosive live shows rich in rock, mod, and punk energy - praised for their presence, style, and tight performance.

Their debut single blends the urgency of '70s punk with mod-revival sophistication - drawing comparisons to The Jam, Green Day, and Blondie. Their stage presence carries swagger and style: think sharp suits, bold stagecraft, and high-octane riffs. With a sophomore single “Today’s Gonna Be Our Day” due soon, plus a debut album in the works, The Molotovs are primed for a major rise in 2025. If you like fresh punk energy combined with youthful swagger, they’re the next band to watch.
