The Roves finally have a 4th LP ready to be released almost imminently. So it's of no surprise that, in order to build up to that, they will be playing a show on home turf. The Roves are a British rock and roll 4 piece from London who have cultivated a small cult following over the years somewhat. We implore you, we urge you and we strongly recommend that you do not miss this special night to see one of the UK's most humble rock groups. Watch this space for further developments coming up in the next few weeks!
The Forty Fours:
ONE OF THE HIGHEST REGARDED ROCK AND ROLL BANDS TO EMERGE FROM CORNWALL, THE FORTY FOURS TAKE INFLUENCE FROM TRADITIONAL BLUES AND MERSEYBEAT TO CREATE AN ENERGISING LIVE SET OF COVERS AND ORIGINAL MATERIAL. NOW BASED IN LONDON THE BAND ARE SET TO RECORD THEIR DEBUT ALBUM OVER THE COMING MONTHS FOR BLOW UP RECORDS, THEY LOOK TOWARDS A RESURGENCE IN CLASSIC BRITISH INVASION MUSIC.
DISPLAY’S OF VOCAL HARMONY, RAW RHYTHM AND BLUES INSTRUMENTATION AND PASSION ARE WHAT HAVE COME TO BE THE ESSENCE OF THE FORTY FOURS. ALWAYS COUPLED WITH AUTHENTICITY AND STYLE.
COMPRISING OF OLIVER HARRISS (LEAD GUITAR AND VOCALS), JASON BAZELEY (BASS GUITAR AND VOCALS), AND ANDY STANDER (DRUMS AND VOCALS), THE FORTY FOURS ARE A GROUP THAT MUST BE EXPERIENCED, LIVE AND ON RECORD.
The Peacocks: One of thee most talked about supergroups this side of 2025 are The Peacocks, they played their first show at the much hyped and much talked about 'Post Party'. Now Oscar and Freddie take on The Troubadour. No amount of snarling or scorn can dilute the palpable energy that these two seem to exude, both onstage and off. It will be fireworks, a spectacle, a feast for the eyes AND ears and yet: it's only just begun. You can check out their other bands The Paris Match and Freddie Keach & The Mop, respectively.
