Get ready for the rescheduled, high-energy folk celebration as The Seeger Sessions Revival takes over the atmospheric Saint Luke’s.

This vibrant, 13-piece ensemble revives the spirit and musical exuberance of Bruce Springsteen’s Grammy-winning album, We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions. That record saw The Boss breathe new life into the powerful, socially conscious back catalogue of legendary folk icon and activist Pete Seeger.

The Revival picks up where Springsteen left off, delivering a thunderous, hootenanny-style show packed with fiddle, banjo, accordion, and a rousing brass section. Expect an infectious mix of bluegrass, gospel, Dixieland, and raw Americana, transforming the restored church into a joyous whirlwind of sound.

You'll hear the defiant protest songs and timeless ballads that Seeger made famous—all delivered with a fervour that critics have called "absolutely stunning." This is not just a concert; it's a massive, communal singalong that promises to be one of the year’s most uplifting and high-spirited gigs in the beautiful, cozy confines of Saint Luke’s.

Why do we have a restoration Levy?

Put very simply, our restoration levy is an additional charge added to your ticket price which is directly invested back into the venue. This money is used for critical maintenance, repairs, and preservation efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of the building.

As the 3rd oldest church building in Glasgow, dating back to 1836, Saint Luke's requires ongoing care and special restoration to maintain its historic character and facilities. This levy will enable us to fund essential projects that will safeguard the venue's future as a vibrant hub for live music and community events.

If you would like to be kept up to date on progress with how we are using this fund then please follow us on social media @stlukesglasgow, and sign up to our mailing list where we will send out quarterly updates on the improvements that your donations are helping us make.
