The Theatre is fitted with evacuation chairs for use in an emergency evacuation and also has refuge areas to ensure the safety of visitors in the event of an emergency evacuation.

We have accessible toilets on all the ground floor and all are fitted with grab rails, sink lever operated taps, low level mirrors and pull cord alarms.

The Courtyard Theatre has two wheelchair spaces available within the auditorium. They are located at the front of the seating bank.

It is recommended that these seats are booked well in advance at the Box Office. The Courtyard Theatre will not release wheelchair accessible seats to non wheelchair users while other seats remain available.

The theatre is unable to accept mobility scooters in the auditorium due to the need to evacuate the auditorium safely in an emergency. Should a guest need the use of their scooter to get to their seat a member of the Front of House will be available to help. The theatre has a wheelchair for use in these instances but scooters can be left in a safe place outside the auditorium.
