Fifty years of a timeless masterpiece.

Roy Ayers’ music has long been intertwined with Jazz Cafe — ever since we opened our doors, we’ve felt his influence and welcomed him onto our stage many times.

From block parties to bedrooms, record stores to radio waves, this title track has become one of the most recognisable and beloved songs in modern music.

To mark its 50th anniversary, celebrated vibraphonist Orphy Robinson brings together an all-star line up, the Red Black & Green Ubiquity Ensemble.

Together, we step inside the album itself — the joy, the soul, the sunshine — as if hearing it for the first time all over again.
